Interestingly I thought she was the one who looked tight on the 2nd and 3rd twizzles, but I loved the held, extended edges out of the first set and I think their cores/posture are really beautiful. Lots of nice stretches, he in particular always is hitting nice positions. Comparatively, they look so much more steady on their edges and in their foundations than the teams I've seen so far.

However, I did not like the ending. It was done without error but it looked clunky getting up and into the final position.

He was centimeters from disaster on that last twizzle, leaning so far.

Positive is that the program keeps moving and they always have something going on, but it's looking frantic and very, very unfinished. And as a concept, there's not much of it and the movements don't really follow the phrasing.

At least Michail left the wipe out in warm up, but still some issues with the twizzles. I much prefer the material of the Germans to the Israelis, but I think the Israelis have the edge on the skating quality.

Crossing my fingers that GrimSav stay ahead of the Israelis. Germany has several dance teams and could use the 3rd spot at Jr Worlds next year whereas Israel doesn't.

I think that's fair. T/K are the much more finished and polished skaters, and I liked their program as a whole much more.

Just checked my Lang/Tchernyshev videos to see if it was blocked anywhere in the world and it says no impact, so I guess Sarah let this one slide

Big mistake with her putting her hands down on the final choreographic element, missing out on easy massive positive GOE and in fact it was like -.20.

They will win, but I found it all meh compared to the free dances last season.

Yeesh. Not even NesMark could keep it completely clean. Their error was minor but they've definitely skated this program better.

This is such a polished, well matched team. I don't know where they will slot in the senior ranks next season, but the top teams in the US below Chock/Bates will have to keep improving because this team should be really strong.
