Yay for Kwon pulling up. Love her sparkle and spirit!
:cheer2:

Good work from Murakami to earn silver.
And just wonderful for Shin in gold. Complete performance.

How long do we have to wait for GP assignments?

Ugh. I'm incredibly bummed that Shibayama struggled today. Such a glorious skater.

I'm also non-plussed that Kwon pulled up for a medal. That FS was, technically, sound, but completely soulless. Meh.

Gladki - eh, I don't see anything particularly special about her and was only rooting for her to skate clean enough to keep Kwon off the podium and she couldn't manage that.

Karhunen - same as Gladki. This program was better last season when it was fresh and she was new on the scene.

Yun - bland.

Lee - she's really struggling with her lutz and flip it seems, and quickly proving that her 5th at US Nats was more of a flash in the pan than anything else.

Murakami - love her dress, love the Australia soundtrack, exquisite program. Darn the fall on the 2A at the end! Glad she held on for silver.

Shin - she's really matured over the past 6 months - there's a fullness to her skating that wasn't there before. Absolutely divine - these programs this season really suit her.

But Ted keeps telling the viewers to stay for the medal ceremony! I always believe him.
Yeah - and they showed them last season. We need to harass the ISU about cutting the stream off before the medal ceremonies and get them to leave it on.

Finally catching up, I really enjoyed Kwon, she really engaged the audience glad she moved up. Shin and Murakami both such lovely skaters they have it all.
Gladki I did like even though her free not as good as her short, I agree a potential future European champion!
Kara I am not a fan of her long but she is fairly consistent, needs to clean up her jumps.
