Yuen/Ma - clearly, their team got the 80s wild color memo, lol. Really rough twizzles for both. The dancing in place at the end was adorable. Soooo young - they've got plenty of time to develop.

They do. But once G/F retire there isn't anyone who can take their place, the way they took over when Anna and Luca retired.

Paolino/Tuba - eek - fall on the twizzles for her and he botched his before she fell! They started off so strongly too.

68.99 for NesMark - they must have really KILLED it - that's even better than LPIDI.

LPIDI wasn't their best (Neset had two rather obvious errors in the RD), so nice to see a score that hopefully reflected an amazing skate here. Sad that we may never get the chance to actually see the program.

Now Jinny Kim understood the assignment. Her hair bow was totally '80s. That program looks really good on them -- they were focused and at the same time expressive. I agree with Mark, big improvement there.

Kruk/Eisenhaber - did they recycle their tango RD costumes from last season? Probably not, but she better be careful with that skirt. No one wants to pull a Mrazkova or Fournier-Beaudry out there. Really though, why would you choose a tango for the FD the season after you did it in the RD?

Yuen/Ma - she's channeling Audrey Hepburn there and you'd think this is a Breakfast at Tiffany's program, but nope - instrumental "Fly Me to the Moon" that segues into Sinatra and then they add a techno beat under the original? Okay, then. Their ISU bio doesn't say who choregraphed this, but if we find out it was Guerreiro, can we find a way to blame Zhulin?

ETA - she totally resembles a young Maia Shibutani.
