Actually this whole thing has been a bit of a struggle. Seems like her legs are not quite there. Getting the job done but it looked like work today. Her face at the end says the same.

The Lutz and flip entry edges are so difficult to figure out in real time. The Lutz looked like it turned inside right before take-off, and the flip looked like it went outside-inside-outside.

Fabulous basics, I think the choreo helps mask the brakes on the jumps.

Is Levito really the best of the Americans? Like really?
I enjoyed about the first 10 seconds of the program, from there it just went downhill. It's not a good sign when you're completely outshined by a beige dress.

Really good skate for Levito. Similar to Skate America. Question about the rotation on the flip.

71.83 = 1st Place

Levito got the job done. I’m not a fan of her choices this season, but she is committed to the choreography. Her combo looks off to me, but two others she did in warmup were identical with the very deep knee on the landing and an off-axis toe. Threw away a couple points on spins I think.

The dress looks less bad in person. It still needs to go, but I understand how she came up with it. TV is distorting the color.

Though, I hope the panel calls the lutz and flip. The combo could generously be called 3lutz ! / 3toe q. Anything else is just pretend.

Well that was a little disappointing but luckily Isabeau left it on a positive note for me. I love how she is maturing and really getting into her choreo. Well deserved marks IMHO.
